sashayed over to the NEW/OLD
Railyard area in Santa Fe

 

The Depot is totally rescued
from a crumbling ruin

The Railrunner chugs daily
from Santa Fe to Belen

But who lurks tromp l’oeil
breaking through the wall
of the New Mexico School 

of the Arts?

The new Kid on the Block
is the 

Vladem Contemporary Museum
with its opening show

Shadow and Light

August Flying Carpet 2023

 In August
the Flying Carpet 

perceives transformation.

Once upon a time
there was a cactus called Epic.

His buds were 

a moment of potential.

He bloomed profusely!
22 fluorescent blossoms!

But then inevitably 

his blossoms faded

and He moved 

on to the next phase…
propagated into 8 new starts
