these budding spring green leaves
in blazing sunlight 


Flying Carpet zooms
to Land of the Rising Sun
fly through darkest night


Omotesando
fashion’s windows reflecting
funky frumpy me


hardness: steel and glass
softness: Meiji forest shrine
Tokyo conundrum


ancient Fuji-san
on Shinkansen: sneak a peek
frenzied cameras click!


silver pavilion
sand becomes perfect mountain
imagined moonlight


captured sun
a prisoner of
azaleas


Aoi Matsuri
600 year old parade
men almost as old


melodious walk
forest concert birdsong air
Miho harmonies



at Daitokuji
"the air in Japan is free"
each tea bowl “priceless”


Somushi tea house
persimmon wabi sabi
infilling beauty


returning heart walks
a mandala spiderweb
temple pilgrimage
